MARDI GRAS

If you want to celebrate Valentine’s month in a big way, Vallarta awaits with a great carnival full of color, music, and entertainment.

It is the Mardi Gras Carnival which will be held on February 28th this year in downtown Puerto Vallarta. This New Orleans tradition will dress up in colors cheering up every assistant in a tour from the Malecón all the way to old town.

With feathers, sequins, masks, and lots of color, visitors from all ages can have fun and dance while collecting as many necklaces as possible and catching the joy from the allegorical cars. They can even create their own car and have a possibility in winning a prize because at the end of the night there is a reward for the most original designs.

This year more than 3,000 visitors are expected, from tourists and families to travelers from around the world. So don’t think about it too much and come have fun at this great celebration.
