The most gay-friendly place

Although its name is not very friendly, this beach is one of the best known gay beaches in Mexico. Here you can take the sun, have fun, and meet the most interesting people of Puerto Vallarta. In this place you will not lack friends, we can assure you that! But do you know why it is one of the most famous gay beaches?

More than 40 years ago this beach was one more of Puerto Vallarta, it was known for being a solitary place where only some hotels could be found, until in the 80s, Canadians and Americans, members of the LGTB community, took advantage of the prices so low of the properties and decided to turn this place into a gay district. Over the years this place was called the Romantic Zone. Today its name says it all, on this beach you can see many couples and members of the gay community taking a walk and having fun as only they know how to do it.

You can enjoy the sun and the good company on this beach every month of the year, but if you are looking for foreign friends, we recommend visiting it in the months of November to May, when foreigners from all over the world take the opportunity to travel to this lovely beach, including 2,000 passengers traveling aboard the Atlantis Gay Cruise, that make a stop at this paradise.
