The #DecriminalizeLGBT

There are many countries in which the LGBT community has made significant strides for its community, but that's not the case for most places in the world. Recently an initiative has been born known as the #DecriminalizeLGBT movement. This is to raise awareness for the nations where the act of being homosexual is still punished as it was in the past. 

Following the motto, "LGBT rights are human rights", Hornet, one of the preferred gay apps of in the LGBT community launched the initiative through the thunderclap.it platform, to which thousands of users have already entered to vote positively and join the cause.

This #DecriminalizeLGBT page describes the LGBT initiative with a registry in which more than 70 countries in the world still criminalize homosexuality. "As long as homosexuality is still criminalized, LGBT people will continue to face violence, harassment and discrimination."

If the LGBT community continues to be seen as a danger, it will continue to be subject to violence, harassment and discrimination. Given this, the society and government as a whole must seek that the LGBT community rights are respected as those of any human being.

It's true that these LGBT achievements don't happen overnight, but progress can be made day by day if each person who supports the LGBT community and believes in rights for all of humanity reflects on the subject. This is precisely what Horney is looking for with the #DecriminalizeLGBT movement and it hopes that in the year 2020, homosexuality will finally be decriminalized around the world.
